How is Élan House different from other florists?

We pride ourself on creating orders that are bespoke and unique to each customer or recipient. You will never see a repeat of an order. 

When available, we love using seasonal blooms from local flower farms. Our flowers are artful and are guaranteed to change the climate and mood of the room. 

All bouquets are designer's choice, but we will try our best to accommodate special request for certain color palettes or local season flowers. 

What is the delivery process?

We deliver orders on Fridays between 1-4 pm and Saturdays between 9-11 am. WE TYPICALLY REQUIRE SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY, but during COVID, things have changed. We will knock to notify the recipient of our arrival and if they don't open, we will first call them (if we don't get in touch with them, we will call you, the sender) and then leave the flowers or gift right at their front door, in the safest spot we can find (under roof, of course). If you already know they WON'T BE HOME and you would like us to leave the flowers or gift out front, please let us know so we can notify our drivers in advance. *Note: we can't guarantee flower freshness or safety if left outside for too long so if someone will be home, that would be the best case scenario!

CONDOS, APARTMENTS, OR GATED COMMUNITY DELIVERIES: Those delivering to condos or apartments - please make sure you included any pertinent gate codes or instructions. If there is a front desk doorman, we will leave the flowers or gifts with them and will require signature; however, please know that in our experience, some doormen will keep flowers overnight or for extended periods of time, especially during COVID times. We would suggest checking in with their front desk on the day of delivery.

HOSPITAL DELIVERIES: Currently, we DO NOT recommend delivering to hospitals due to stringent COVID hospital policies. If you placed a hospital delivery order, you can email us to arrange a different delivery address or call us at the shop at 919-578-7124. Nevertheless, we will be contacting you to resolve this issue shortly. 

If a bouquet is going to Raleigh we will include a $12 Delivery Fee. 

To schedules a flower delivery to Durham or Chapel Hill our Delivery is $20. Durham and Chapel Hill delivery will need to be further coordinated, as well. Once you have submitted your order, please reach out to us via email (hello@elan-house.com). 

Your order is considered valid as long as you receive the automated confirmation email. If there are any additional questions or changes that need making, we will reach out to you directly, per the contact information submitted when you placed the order. 

We try our best to provide delivery confirmation but due to volume that is not always possible. 

For same day orders, we require at least a 24 hour time lead. 

Bouquet Pick Up

We are located in Raleigh, NC. You will receive the exact pick up address once your order is confirmed. 

Please arrive promptly at the time confirmed to pick up your flower arrangement. If you are more than ten minutes late to your appointment time, there will be a $5 late fee and we may have to reschedule your pick-up. If you know you are going to be late, please contact us ASAP by texting us at (919) 578-7124.

What happens if the recipient or anyone is not available to receive the flowers personally?

If the recipient or anyone is not available to receive the flowers, we will contact the recipient, and if they don't respond, they will be left at their front door (where flowers are involved weather plays a big role in our leaving the florals). If the weather is not cool enough for the flowers, the flowers can be redelivered the next business day but the gift giver will be responsible for an additional delivery fee. Élan House will not be held responsible or liable for any stolen or damaged gifts after the delivery.

Privacy

Élan House is completely committed to protecting your privacy. The information you provide us during checkout is used to process orders and to assist us in delivering administration type emails. Élan House utilizes every available technology to ensure that your confidential information remains secure.

Élan House holds your email address in strictest confidence. We do not sell, give away, or otherwise distribute your address to any third party. Users cannot opt-out of administrative type emails such as order confirmation messages. When you place an order, we'll ask you for your name, email address, mailing address, billing address, and credit card number with an expiration date. This information allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.

Élan House uses your purchasing information to provide you a more efficient and enjoyable shopping experience. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the content, design, and layout of the website.

Élan House considers the information you share with us to be personal and confidential. We do not sell, trade, or rent any of your personal information to others.

Élan House releases personal account information in good faith when such release is believed to be reasonably necessary. This includes situations in complying with the law, enforcing or applying the terms of any of our user agreements, or protecting the rights, property, our customers, or affected third parties.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Élan House. If we amend our Privacy Policy, we will immediately post the changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we gather, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.  We suggest that you check this page on occasion to keep up with the most current policies.
